You mentioned on Linc that you knew of an apt for 5k pm, I don’t know how to contact you, so I’m trying this. Can you give any more info, how far out of the city, minimum term deposit etc.

where are you from? What area of the city do you plan to live in? I live in Minglanilla which is south of Cebu to get an idea of the location :- http://tropicalpenpals.com/blog/?page_id=3340
zoom in a little and follow the orange road down the trail (the Southern Coastal Road) and you will be in Minglanilla.
Its approx 40mins ride from the centre of the city and a little less from SM Mall. But one advantage of that area is less traffic. There is one apartment left as the first one I live in the next one another Brit lives when he arrives later in the year. Leaving the third on the end.
